After 3 years studying Plastic Arts at Ateliers du Carousel (Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris), Raphaëlle Roumagnac followed graphism studies at Polycrea (Ecole Supérieure des Arts Modernes) untill 1993. She then started to work as graphic designer and create at the same time her own line of resin jewellery (presented in the Who’s Next event in Paris). Untill 1995, she did internships as graphic designer in the design agency Carré Noir and for print (magazine Glamour and Assouline Editions).

From 1996, she worked as a photographer assistant at the Pin Up studio photo in Paris for some famous photographers (J.B. Mondino, B. Bisang, G. Phillipidis, A. Chatelain, E. Von Unwerth, Hervé Léger…) and brands (Lancôme, Smalto, Danone, Glamour…).

In 1998, she worked as a photo stylist for Yasmine Gautier, making catalogs and advertising for brands like Cerruti, Citroën or Nick Janik and creating capsule collections.

From 2000 to 2002, Raphaëlle followed her stylist work for a movie production company (Transkom Productions), for short-movies, corporate movies and animated films (Lubna Face, Cosmic Cendrillon…)

In 2002, she went back to fashion stylism, creating collections for Laurence Tavernier Homewear.

She came back to the jewellery creation in 2005, after an internship with Edgard Hamon. At the same time, she came back to her plastician work, presenting for the first time her digital collages with the city of Miami as main theme, in an exhibition in Bordeaux (in the concept store « Les Filles au Balcon »). The same year, she presents her photographic works about the city of Collioure, in the mythic place of Café Sola. She then continues to present her works in multiple exhibitions, in particular in Nice (Une collection #4) and Paris (Une collection #5).

She started to work for herself as a plastician artist in 2005. She did her first exhibition the same year in Collioure (Café Sola), presenting for the first time her collages. Short after, she presented a second exhibition in Bordeaux (Les Filles au Balcon).

Nowadays she continues her digital collage artwork, making new digital collages from her photo shootings, travelling all around the world to find inspiration in new cities and areas.
